A Colder Springtime in Ennis, Montana

The rain and snow yesterday did not prevent Ken from grilling our dinner outdoors.  It was twenty-nine when we woke and barely made it above forty.  The same is true today.  At least today we
experienced brief moments of sunshine.

Mystic, the cat, remained cuddled inside the blankets in an effort to keep warm.  We are hopeful that later in the week we could see a day or two reach sixty degrees.

Snow Day Energy Burst

"Snow, no matter how gently it falls bring a sense of tranquility…unless of course you are a cat named Mystic. In the snow he goes up the tree chasing either snow flakes or a finch screaming for its life. I don't know which one it was because Mystic had a mouth full of 'nothings', no feathers and no snow flakes. He may have missed his target but the end result brought sunshine to a gloomy day. Smiles some days, especially today,  are as good as gold."

It snowed yesterday and never got above the mid twenties.  Mystic, our cat entertained us as the snow seemed to bring out an unusual burst of energy.

Today it was zero when we got up.  The sun is shinning and there are no clouds.  Looks like it will be an awesome winter day.  Mystic chose to stay in this morning.  He is curled up in my office chair sound asleep.
