Winter is Back

This week passed quickly.  I picked up two new galleries for my leather bowls.  So, I just now realized I had not posted in a few days. Sorry about that.

Winter returned this past week.  Temps were in the single digits and rarely got above twenty during the day.  The wind was so strong it felt like it was below zero.

We saw a few snow flakes here in town.  They were floating in the air but am not sure they made it to the ground.  When the clouds thinned you could see the mountains got a nice coating of that beautiful white stuff.

Calving season is going well with all the warmer temperatures.  We found lots of new babies when we passed this spot. Our presence caused such a stir all the cows rushed to see what we were up to.  So, the babies did not make it into the family portrait.

Today the sun is shining and the wind is a tolerable breeze. I got this shot of the river at the bridge so you can see how the ice is slowly melting off the banks.

  2. Thanks Julie. Today it felt like spring. We had sunshine, no wind and it was in the low fifties. Awesome.
