Wind,wind and more wind...

I stopped at Lions Park when I went out for fresh eggs this morning.  The wind was blowing but nothing like the past two days.  Yesterday someone in McAllister clocked winds at 59 miles per hour.  Other places reported them as high as 72 miles per hour.

As you can tell the river is void of ice.  This has been such an unusual winter.  Today it is in the forties and expected to reach up into the mid fifties.  One day last week it was sixty-five in Bozeman.

Well, back to my studio to finish the orders I received last week.  I am having so much fun playing with these new stains and sculpting techniques.

A Different Kind of Fall

It was fifty-five degrees when our friends left after nine in the evening. The wind was blowing as we discussed the unusually warm weather for this time of year.

The skies moved from cloudy to partly cloudy all week as temperatures ranged from the low thirties to the mid fifties.

As you can tell by the grass in my photo the wind has been ever present. Even with the warmer temperatures the snow-capped mountains remind us that winter is just around the corner.
