I created this journal for my friends who only visit the Madison Valley of Montana in the summer and ask me the question, "What are the winters like?" I hope you enjoy my photos and comments as I share my Montana moments this year. Perhaps it will give you a peek into what it is truly like to live here full time. Welcome to my world.

Fog
Photos by Ken W. Hall
After the snow last week we woke one morning to an awesome fog that had settled into the valley. Ken rushed out camera in hand. He was gone for a couple of hours and returned with these awesome images.
Sunday we headed for for Varney Bridge to walk. Every fishing access was filled with fishermen, dogs and boats. It was in the mid fifties and a spectacular day.
